Iceberg Interactive Unveils Monster Run: A Dark Fantasy Roguelike Beat’em Up Fusion by the Creator of Shortest Trip to Earth
HAARLEM, THE NETHERLANDS, August 22, 2023 — Iceberg Interactive is thrilled to lift the veil on Monster Run, a fiery dark fantasy roguelike beat’em up fusion where players take on the role of monsters, reclaiming their habitat from greedy human armies. Developed for PC by Interactive Fate, the creator of acclaimed title Shortest Trip to Earth, Monster Run will allow players to master the art of nonhuman warfare against waves of medieval armies looking to wear them down.
Use poison claws, fire breathing, ferocious swipes and more to cut down hordes of tiny humans. Slaughter slightly larger minibosses to defend the monster’s reign as king of the forest. Adapt to enemy stances and attacks and evolve to become a better beast. Achieve the monster’s ultimate goal of devouring the greedy human emperor and his nobles. We hear they’re plump and tasty!
Hunt or be hunted across over 15 levels and face off against over 66 unique enemy types. These fights won’t be a cakewalk. Expect every encounter to be more gruesome than the last. But don’t worry, kitty cats - Monster Run does include optional permadeath.
